Participation
About 150 countries are taking part in the 2003-2006 ICP round. All countries are arranged into 6 groups: 40 countries comprise the OECD/Eurostat group; 50 countries are participating in the Africa region, 23 in Asia, 10 in Latin America, 13 in West Asia and 12 in the CIS.
In accordance with the decision of the ICP Executive Board, the following countries will participate in Ring Comparisons:
- Eurostat/OECD: UK, Japan, Estonia and Slovenia.
- CIS Russia, Kazakhstan,
- ESCWA: Oman , Jordan
- ECLAC: Brazil, Chile
- Africa: Egypt, Kenya, Senegal and South Africa
- Asia: Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka
